HALF MOON BAY ENGINEERING LTD (HMBE) is located on Half Moon Bay Marina hardstand area, right beside Allvo Marine Engineering, Auckland.

The business was established in 2012 to look after YAMAR MARINE engines and sail drives in a strategically located workshop. We have a team of qualified and dedicated engineers who strive to meet your demanding requirements to “Do it right first time”

We are the local agents for YANMAR MARINE engines and drive systems and we are able to supply and service all your needs concerning your YANMAR MARINE equipment. We carry an extensive range of genuine YANMAR spare parts.

We also service all other marine engine and drive system and also carry an extensive range of parts for other common marine engines.

All of our qualified staff have dedicated service vans that are able to travel to your vessel on other Auckland marinas if required.

Being on the Hardstand Haul out area adjacent to the travel lift, we are able to carry out all pleasure craft marine engineering maintenance efficiently and to the highest standards. We carry out all facets of marine engineering service, maintenance and new installations. We can provide main engine or genset service, installation of new engines, gearboxes and stern drives, propellers, propeller shafts and bushes, steering, bow thrusters and anything else you may need on your vessel. If we don’t do it ourselves, we can organise to have it done for you by the other companies on the hardstand.

HMB Marina has eight marine dedicated companies located on site, Engineers, Boat Builders, Marine Electrical, Marine Painters, Stainless Steel Fabricators, Mast and Sail Riggers and Marine Upholstery, all of whom are dedicated and specialise in their chosen marine field
